Hurricane Leslie
Hurricane Leslie was not supposed to be this good, but it kept hanging around long enough to produce swell for few days in the East Coast. Surfing a hurricane from the West Coast to surf another hurricane the following week in the East Coast was a pretyy good exchange.

Hurricane Isaac
Hurricane season is heating up and now Isaac got through the Gulf and brought the best waves we've seen in the gulf in the last few years. We got swell starting on Monday, all the way through Friday. Best days were Monday and Thursday, clean conditions, glassy and head high. The other days got some wind on it, but still rideable. Surfing at home everyday was priceless!

Tropical Storm Debby
This storm brought some waves to the Gulf for more than 4 days, sometimes not so good, sometimes half way decent, but for sure plenty of size and rip currents. In these pictures you get to see a nice wave and some ugly blown out swell. The damage of this Storm has been the worst that I remember, all over Tampa Bay has been suffering the effects of Debby.

Tropical Storm Beryl
The Hurricane season hasn't started yet and we already have the second Storm for the year, Beryl. Last minute storm decided to hit North Florida, bringing some solid swell for the East Coast this weekend. 3 days of good waves, offshore winds for most of the time with waves in the 4-6 ft range.
We surfed in the Sebastian Inlet area and also in Ponce Inlet. We really scored some good waves.
Now, let's see what else this season has to offer!

Surfing both Coasts!!
What a weekend! I first went to the East Coast, Sebastian Inlet, to be more specific, got to surf first peak. It was going off, some sets coming head high, glass and barreling, I haven't cought that peak that good in so long, super fun.
Then, I turned around and we got waves back home, not the quality of the offshore winds over the East Coast, here the winds were onshore, but I'm always stoked to surf at home!
First photo shows Sebastian Inlet, second one is over the Gulf.

Puerto rico as its best!

We've surfed Marias down in Rincon, probably 8 ft plus, semi glassy and fun. We also surfed Wilderness big and chunky, way over 10 ft waves with glassy conditions, one of the biggest waves I've seen in Puerto Rico, but nothing like Margara, down in Arecibo, in this picture, you can see a glassy 8-10 ft waves from this perfect peak, A-frames all day long.

Puerto Rico Update

Our last day we searched all over the west coast looking for waves. The north side was completely blown out by the massive swell. I got to surf Gas Chambers for the first time ever in my life. I got a massive barrel and on my second wave I made all the way to the rock wall, glad didn't kill myself on that one. Too bad we could get any footage, it was a picture paradise!
Till next time Puerto Rico!!!!!!

Puerto Rico Update

The forecast for the entire time we are down here in Puerto Rico is great, it seems like we are gonna score everyday. I made this trip with Brian Holloway, we flew together from Orlando and down in PR we met with Damian Dinham, Dan Worley, Billy Andersen and Devin Ricke, the best of the best from Florida.
You can see Damian scoring this nice barrel!

Puerto Rico Update

My first day in Puerto Rico!...conditions were great, 6 ft glass all day long, we surfed in Middles right before the contest and after the contest till dark. It was nice to surf to all those PROs attending this event. The bad news, I got about 40 sea urchins in my right hand. I've surfed this place several times, never had an incident, now I got as many urchins as I could collect in one session.
