Villano Beach
After many years living in Florida, finally got the chance to surf this spot in St Augustine area in North Florida.
It was not the best day out there, but you can tell you can find some nuggets all day long, can't wait to surf this spot in epic conditions. The best part of this day was spending this session with friends that I haven't seen in a while!

The Gulf!!!!
I have to be honest, this winter season has not been the best one in the Gulf, but today the waves were pumping!
Not really big, but super mega fun! I think I got barreled in every single waves, no joke! I was totally surfed out by the time the sun came down, so stoked to surf at home at my favorite spot!

South Florida
We got a strong noreaster cold front that made it all the way down to South Florida, so I decided to head down there to catch some waves. Not only they were good, but also a lot warmer!
Palm Beach has its days and this was one of those! waves were alt least 6 ft plus and glassy, paddle was a bitch but we had fun!
One of the thing that I appreciate the most about surfing is the friendship you build. Waves can be crap, but if you are hanging out with your friends, it makes it all much better!

Puerto Rico
Being unable to surf and with crappy waves, we decided to take a hike at Cueva Ventana (window cave). I've been coming to Puerto Rico for years now and always wanted to come here. It is amazing what mother nature is capable to create! we had a great time here! soon, I'll be back home. Hoping for some nice water shots to come soon also!

Puerto Rico
Waves have been fun in the island, but when if you wanna play, you gotta pay! I had a nasty accident today, as you can tell. I had to go to the emergency room and get few stitches close to my left eye and under my chin. I'm not complaining, just part of the business.

Big Nor'easter!
We just got a big Nor'easter sweeping the entire east coast of the country. It came straight from the north so South Florida got the best of it in Florida. I went down there by myself for a couple of days and surf the Palm Beach area. I was surprised to see these waves. Wednesday, was a solid 6-8 ft plus waves and super glassy. I heard the day before was even bigger. Thursday was as good as well, but fading in the afternoon. I had a blast! plus water was so warm and blue crystal clear water! Beautiful view behind the palm tree!

Thanksgiving!
We decided to spend the whole week of Thanksgiving in Tennessee. My entire family got a cabin in the middle of the woods in Smokey Mountains Park, away from the water. This is my first time seeing snow, that's why I'm posting this picture with my beautiful wife. We had a great time and I will recommend anyone going up there, so nice and quite!

Hurricane Gonzalo
Last 3 days have been fun! Hurricane Gonzalo got together last minute, but it delivered the goods. This has been one of the slowest hurricane season I remember, but finally we got something worth waiting for. I got to score 3 solid days of surf!

Hurricane Cristobal
The forecast for the system has been all over the place, but I took a chance going a day before the "good day" and the gamble paid off. Central Florida was going off with some good gems, so bad we couldn't get water shoots, but waves were solid 4-6 ft with glass conditions for most of the day.
Hopefully, hurricane season is only warming up!

This Historic Landmark is going to be tear down this week I'm going to miss the bowl!

Hurricane Bertha
Hurricane season has a late start. Bertha delivered the goods but it wasn't as good as the forecast was showing, still got to surf for a couple of days this system in New Smyrna Beach. If it wasn't for the crowd, it could've been a better day out there.
This is just me going over the lip.

Action
A solid day at the Log Cabins! this spot is close by Pipeline, you can pretty much see everyone that is surfing at pipe from here.
I got a couple of good sequences, we just need to go through hundred of pictures before I can start posting more, this is just a preview, I'll be posting more in the days to come.
Now my time is coming to an end in Hawaii, I enjoyed my time, but I'm ready to go back home.
Aloha!

The crew
I'm having a great time here in Hawaii, my mind has been busy with some personal issues I have going on, but I'm glad I'm surfing some good waves! I made this trip with Luis, Marcos, Manolo and Cano, some good friends from Puerto Rico and Florida. It's important to get along well with your the guys you are traveling with in a surf trip, trust me on that. By the way, couldn't avoid the picture with Bob Marley!

Checking the waves
We have surfed few spots in the Island of Oahu, we are staying in the North Shore right next to Waimea Bay. So far, we surfed V Land, Log Cabins, the West Side. Now taking a look at Pipeline. The whole week we've cought some 6-8 ft waves, but haven't found a good solid swell, it should be coming soon.
